The Joint Commission Re-Certifies Somnia Anesthesia for Health Care Staffing Services

Somnia Earns The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval®

HARRISON, NY – Somnia Anesthesia, a national anesthesia practice management company, once again has achieved The Joint Commission’s (TJC) Gold Seal of Approval® for Health Care Staffing Services. Voluntarily undergoing a continuous process which involves an onsite evaluation and quarterly follow-ups throughout the accreditation cycle in order to earn this prestigious certification. This successful achievement for the fifth straight time since 2013, is a strong indicator that Somnia meets national industry standards in health care.

Earning TJC’s Gold Seal of Approval®, the staffing industry’s gold standard, provides Somnia with a rigorous framework that not only helps them improve and measure their procedures and processes, but also assures clients that Somnia’s anesthesia providers are credentialed and fully competent to perform their jobs. It is important to note that compliance with these standards is intended to improve the quality of health care and increase patient safety. This TJC Health Care Staffing Services Certification is awarded for two years.

Joint Commission surveyors are highly trained experts who are doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, laboratory medical technologists, and other health care professionals. Their comprehensive evaluation examines four areas: Leadership, Human Resource Management, Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement, and Information Management.
