Somnia’s App for Evaluating Hospital Anesthesia Services Now Available in Apple Store
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – October 25, 2012— Somnia Anesthesia, a leading national anesthesia practice management company, has announced that its first-of-a kind app for evaluating hospital anesthesia services is now available in the Apple Store. The tool allows hospital executives to examine the productivity and efficacy of their facility’s anesthesia department in four critical areas – leadership, financial management, quality improvement, and clinical services.
Originally released in April as a web-based application, the app enables hospital administrators to rate their current anesthesia service provider in a confidential and comprehensive manner. After answering twenty questions, percentages are computed from a 1 to 5 scale response for each question, ranging from poor to excellent. At the conclusion, a score is provided along with recommended next steps for improvement, if applicable.
