Somnia Announces Winner of 2023 CRNA of the Year Award

Traci Waters, CRNA, from Memorial Medical Center Wins Award.

HARRISON, NY – Somnia Anesthesia, an anesthesia practice management company serving hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and office-based facilities nationwide, announced the winner of the 2023 CRNA of the Year Award: Traci Waters, CRNA, Memorial Medical Center, in Las Cruces New Mexico. The award was established in support of CRNA Week.

Traci was nominated by her colleagues for her teamwork, efficiency, reliability, and compassion. Traci’s colleagues commended her saying “Traci is a very hard worker, always willing to step up in a leadership role and facilitate for the day, perform regional blocks for other providers’ patients, and communicates well with the team every day. The patients receiving care from Traci have commented on how caring and compassionate she is. She takes care of her patients like she would her own family members, and it shows every day in her work. Her spirits are always high, and she’s a very positive influence on the rest of the team.”

Traci graciously accepted the CRNA of the Year Award, “First and foremost I want to thank God for guiding me in the direction of hard work and dedication. I also want to thank and express my gratitude to everyone on my team and Somnia that allowed me to achieve this award.”

This annual award recognizes the dedication of CRNAs who work to achieve best-in-class patient care and who demonstrate an honest commitment to personal and professional growth and improvement. Clinicians within the Somnia network were encouraged to nominate their fellow colleagues for this award. Somnia hosts this event annually.
