Nahum I. Kryzman, MD, Appointed Medical Director At St. John’s Regional Medical Center At Oxnard, CA, and St. John’s Hospital Camarillo in Camarillo, CA
HARRISON, NY – Somnia Inc. (Somnia), a national anesthesia services management company, today announced the appointment of Nahum I. Kryzman, MD, medical director of Anesthesiology at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, CA, and its sister facility, St. John’s Hospital Camarillo in Camarillo, CA. Both are members of the Dignity Health, the fifth largest hospital system in the country and the largest hospital provider in California.
In his new role as Medical Director, Dr. Kryzman will be responsible for leading and managing all clinical and fiscal operations of the anesthesiology department and overseeing all requisite quality performance reporting and metrics. As liaison to the Hospitals’ executive team, he will represent the department at a variety of C-suite and cross-functional department meetings.

A board-certified anesthesiologist and member of numerous anesthesia-related professional organizations, Dr. Kryzman has published, co-published, and presented numerous posters and articles related to Pediatric Anesthesiology. Early in his career, as a Biomedical Design Engineer, he contributed to the electronic hardware design and redesign of new automated external defibrillator products.

A cum laude graduate, Dr. Kryzman earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Kryzman also was a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellow at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
