NEW ROCHELLE, NY (November 1, 2012) – A recent webinar focused on the job market for anesthesia clinicians, sponsored by Somnia Anesthesia and GasWork.com is now available for download.“Anesthesia Careers: Trends and Opportunities,” was presented live to a large national audience of anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) on October 23.
The webinar addressed the current status of the anesthesia job market including supply and demand; qualities employers seek in candidates; where to search for opportunities; and how to prepare for interviews.
Webinar presenters were Robert Farrar, MD, JD, FCLM, executive vice president of medical affairs at Somnia Anesthesia; Brent Sommer, CRNA, MPHA, a nurse anesthetist at Desert Regional Medical Center, Palm Springs, CA; and Frank Schramm, MD, chief of anesthesia at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA.
