Hugh Morgan joined Somnia Anesthesia in 2009 and has since served in a number of key executive leadership positions including Vice President of Quality and, currently, Vice President of Operations, a position he assumed in 2017. In his latest role, Mr. Morgan has been responsible for providing executive management for numerous acute and ambulatory anesthesia practices across the country. As such, he is responsible for providing strategic vision, leadership and oversight for practice operations and performance. His management extends to the areas of staffing, productivity, quality, financials, and customer satisfaction. Mr. Morgan has more than 20 years of healthcare experience in hospital operating room management and in anesthesia practice management.
Following his post-college U.S. Army active duty service as a Medical Service Corps Officer, he was the Business Manager of Perioperative Services at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, after which he was the Anesthesia Practice Director at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Southern New Jersey. Mr. Morgan earned his Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Grantham University and is both a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
