NEW ROCHELLE, NY (February 12, 2018) –
Somnia Inc. (Somnia), a national anesthesia practice management
company, added to its clinical leadership teams, naming several new anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) to the positions of chief. The company also named a Chief Operating Officer and added an additional Vice President of Clinical Operations, further strengthening the company’s operations.
New to the role of anesthesiology department chief at Somnia are: Dr. Randy Cohen, Dr. Jesse Dominguez, Dr. Steven Feldstein and, Dr. Matthew LaValle. Promoted into the role of department chief were Dr. Jeffrey Pack, and Dr. Jorge Palacios. Each will be responsible for leading and managing care teams comprising anesthesiologists and CRNAs, strengthening our customer-centric culture, ensuring peak OR performance, delivering enhanced patient care, and driving fiscal efficiency and continuous quality improvement.
Somnia also hired new CRNAs as chiefs and promoted others to the post: Jason Crosby, CRNA and Calvin Stewart, CRNA were hired as Chief CRNA, while Diane Butkus, CRNA and Wes Mildenhall, CRNA were promoted to Chief CRNA roles in their respective departments.
In addition to expanding its clinical leadership team and client roster, the company augmented its operations leadership, naming Linda Caccamo, CRNA, MS, MBA/MHA as Chief Operating Officer. She will be joined and supported by an additional Vice President of Clinical Operations, Mark Neubauer, CRNA. Together, Linda, who holds LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt status, and Mark bring more than 50 years’ experience in the provision of anesthesia patient care and in the design and implementation of strategic business plans that have resulted in increased revenue and margins, lower expenses, and improved performance.
