Clinical excellence in anesthesia does not always result in effective anesthesia management. A mismanaged anesthesia operation exposes great financial, performance, and administrative risks to the hospital. After speaking with many of our clients, we have learned that most problems their former anesthesia groups possessed could be categorized into 5 main areas:
- Clinical inefficiencies
- Performance deficiencies
- Dissatisfied customers
- Administrative problems
- Ineffective leadership
In this week’s blog, we have decided to ask you, the readers, about any problems you may have with your current anesthesia group. By clicking on the link below, you will be able to complete a short survey (anonymously) regarding specific anesthesia-related issues that may be taking place in your hospital.
Our goal is to not only gain an understanding of what problems other hospitals face, however, also to provide our readers with a clear idea of what others in similar management positions are confronted with nationwide. The results will be published in our next blog post on June 4th.
Please keep in mind, that you will complete the survey anonymously, so there I no need for concern in regards to confidentiality.
