Providence Washington Anesthesia Services Announces CME “Conference with a Cause”

New Rochelle, NY (January 7, 2013)Providence Washington Anesthesia Services will host their second annual “Conference with a Cause” Anesthesia Symposium on Saturday, February 2, 2013. 100% of the net proceeds from this continuing medical education symposium will be donated to the purchase of pulse oximeters for the developing world through LifeBox.org. They will be delivered free of charge via members of Health Volunteers Overseas.

The conference will address topics relevant to anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists including: Anesthesia for the Morbidly Obese Patient; Sepsis Care through the Peri-Operative Period; Massive Transfusion in Obstetrics, Surgery and the ICU; and Leadership and the Quality Process: ‘I Make a Difference.’

The conference will be held at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington. The hospital is a Washington State Medical Association accredited sponsor, and designates this educational activity for a maximum of 8 hours in Category I to satisfy the re-licensure requirements of the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission.
