Lynette Bear, CRNA, DNP, MBA, Joins Executive Team At Somnia Anesthesia As VP Of Clinical Operations

Appointment Sharpens Company’s Focus on Value-Based Solutions

HARRISON, NY (December 19, 2018) – Somnia Anesthesia, a national anesthesia practice management company, today announced the appointment of Lynette Bear, CRNA, DNP, MBA as Vice President of Clinical Operations. She will report directly to the company’s COO.

Dr. Bear brings to Somnia more than 20 years of clinical and administrative experience optimizing anesthesia operations, implementing strategic programs, and building successful anesthesia teams, all of which strengthen the experience of the company’s executive bench. In her new role, Dr. Bear will be responsible for leading and managing certain of the company’s client accounts, which are in a variety of clinical settings across the country, assuming responsibility for the financial and clinical performance of each. In addition to her administrative duties, she will continue her clinical practice on a limited basis.

Dr. Bear comes to Somnia after spending more than 12 years at the Laser Spine Institute where she served in several roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Director of Anesthesia Administration, Senior Director of Corporate Development, and Director of Medical Intake. She also served as a clinical CRNA leader.

In addition to her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University in Illinois, Lynette earned an MBA from University of Tampa, Florida.  She continues to practice as a CRNA in several states. An experienced speaker and presenter, Lynette has addressed professional and clinical audiences on a variety of topics including Integration of Hypnosis and Music Into Anesthesia and other practical anesthesia skills.
