St. Joseph’s Medical Center is the largest hospital and private employer in Stockton. St. Joe’s has 2,300 employees, including more than 600 physicians. Annual case volume is 11,800, comprising a mix of general, cardiac, OB, GYN, neuro, plastics, ortho, and podiatry. An award-winning facility, St. Joseph’s has been continually named “most preferred hospital” by consumers in the area.
Located in Northern California, Stockton is the county seat of San Joaquin County. A population of some 290,000 residents ranks it the 12th largest city in California.
