Dr. Goldstein oversees clinical operations for Somnia and evaluates the clinical efficacy of its quality and other performance-related initiatives. In this role, he also manages a clinical team of more than 325 anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, registered nurses and physician assistants. A licensed physician and Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, he brings to his position rich experience in both clinical and managerial functions. In addition to authoring numerous book chapters and articles, Dr. Goldstein has been called upon to address national and international audiences on the topic of anesthesia management. After graduating from the University of Michigan, Dr. Goldstein earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. He completed his internship at Beth Israel Medical Center, and his residency at the Yale University School of Medicine. In addition to holding an executive post at Somnia Anesthesia, Dr. Goldstein has served as accreditation inspector for Medicare as well as for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
